RiverLand Neighbor-to-Neighbor Referral Program

Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 7/29/2025

1. Program Overview

RiverLand Roofing offers a $500 referral bonus to individuals who refer new customers who sign a contract for a complete roof replacement. This includes residential, commercial, or industrial re-roofs. The program is open to U.S. residents in all 50 states. Referred projects must be located within Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, or Alabama.

2. Eligibility Requirements

Referrer must:

    •    Be a legal U.S. resident, age 18 or older

    •    Not be a RiverLand employee, contractor, or agent

    •    Not refer themselves, a household member, or their own property

    •    Not act as a marketer, paid lead generator, or outside salesperson

    •    Submit the referral before the referred customer contacts RiverLand Roofing or be named during the referred customer’s first contact

Referred customer must:

    •    Have had no prior contact or interaction with RiverLand Roofing by any method (phone, email, text, website, social media, etc.), unless they mention the referrer by name during their very first contact

    •    Sign a contract for a complete roof replacement valued at $5,000 or more (before tax)

    •    Be located in Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, or Alabama

3. How to Refer

Referrals must be submitted in one of the following ways:

    1    Before the referred customer contacts RiverLand Roofing, using one of these methods:

    ◦    Email (to the address provided by RiverLand Roofing)

    ◦    Phone (must be documented by RiverLand staff with time and date)

    2    Or, the referred customer must mention the referrer by name during their very first contact with RiverLand Roofing (by phone, form, email, or in person).

The referrer must have the referred customer’s permission to share their contact information. RiverLand will verify eligibility by reviewing all records including call logs, CRM history, emails, and web form timestamps.

4. Referral Bonus Terms

    •    A $500 reward will be issued to the referrer only after all of the following conditions are met:

    1    The referred customer is confirmed to be a new contact (or named the referrer in their first outreach)

    2    A contract is signed for a qualifying project

    3    A deposit is received and cleared

    4    The job is scheduled and not canceled within 14 calendar days

    5    The project is completed and paid in full

    •    Payment method: check or prepaid gift card

    •    Payment timing: within 30 days of verified completion

    •    Tax reporting: Referrers earning $600 or more in one calendar year must submit a W-9. A 1099-MISC will be issued per IRS requirements.

5. Program Rules and Limitations

    •    No limit on the number of referrals a person may submit

    •    Only one referrer will be credited per customer (first valid submission takes priority)

    •    Self-referrals and referrals from household members are not eligible

    •    Referrals expire after 6 months if no qualifying contract is signed

    •    Referral rewards cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or applied toward account balances

    •    Cannot be combined with other offers or discounts

    •    Program is void where prohibited by law

6. Compliance, Fraud, and Disqualification

    •    Referrers must not mislead, spam, or cold-contact strangers

    •    Referrers must disclose they may receive a reward when recommending RiverLand

    •    RiverLand Roofing reserves the right to verify eligibility, reject ineligible referrals, and disqualify users for fraud or abuse

    •    Any abuse of the program may result in permanent removal from the program and cancellation of unpaid rewards

7. Privacy and Data Use

    •    Personal information will only be used for referral verification and customer outreach

    •    RiverLand may request permission to use a referrer’s name or testimonial in marketing

    •    Referrers and referred customers are subject to RiverLand’s Privacy Policy

8. Arbitration and Governing Law

    •    This program is governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi

    •    Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in the county where RiverLand is headquartered

    •    Referrers waive the right to jury trials or class action suits

9. Program Changes or Termination

    •    RiverLand Roofing may change, suspend, or end the program at any time without notice

    •    Referrals submitted before program changes may still be honored at RiverLand’s discretion

10. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a referral or accepting a reward, the participant agrees to all terms and conditions of this referral program.
